My coffee table is covered with papers, envelopes, books, computer, water glass….!
I’m nervous to admit that getting ready for departure is stressful. It’s really, really different to be on “this side” of the whole thing. It’s easier as the coach – now, we’re depending on others to coach us!
Things like tourist visas usually handled by others, now lies on our pile of things-to-do. My husband is balancing time with working on these travel details, while meeting with and fulfilling needs for his own clients = the bills still need to be paid! There is always, always something that tends to cause anxiety – and, this is one of those. The application process is all done on line, and the “help” line is always busy, therefore – hurry up and wait.
So, our initial letter is finally written and mailed – via email and postal.
Then there’s the Shots.
Shots, as in Immunizations.
Not a lot – I don’t think – but, enough.
We start those in another week.
We also have an application process for getting health coverage. Being self-employed, this has been a challenge for us over the years. Another detail requiring our attention for travel.
Pray we remain healthy.
Something to meditate on today:
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”
Thanks so much for your prayers and encouragement through this daunting process.
